How Does It Work?

The unique soapstone absorbs the included oil and burns continuously for 20 minutes with a high-intensity flame. This strong and hot flame ensures effortless ignition, even for slightly damp wood. Simply store the oil and soapstone in a container of your choice, so your firelighter is always ready for use.

What is a Soapstone?

The soapstone is made from a by-product of copper mining. This material is upcycled under high pressure to create our fireproof, reusable firelighter. The stone absorbs the oil like a sponge and releases it slowly and steadily when ignited. The stone itself is fully fire-resistant and can be reused almost indefinitely. “Once you have it, you’ll love it.”
